Ashley Rice

Ashley Rice is a U.S. Navy veteran, and currently employed with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS). Native of Marshall, Michigan, Ashley spent five years in active service with the United States Navy, building a foundation of leadership, resilience, and dedication to public service.

Following her military separation, Ashley double majored in Criminal Justice and Psychology from The University of Olivet. Graduating Summa Cumma Laude. Upon graduation, she joined the state of Michigan as a Services Specialist, advocating for vulnerable populations and supporting individuals and families across the community.

To expand her clinical skill set and deepen her direct impact, Ashley is currently pursuing a Master of Social Work (MSW) through Liberty University, specializing in Individual and Family Clinical Practice. She is anticipating graduation in May 2028.

In her free time, Ashley stays active by running and taking long walks with her Corgi, Echo, while prioritizing quality time with her family and friends.
